17th Street Festival | Washington DC

The 17th Street Street Festival was founded in 2010 under the leadership of Lee Granados when community leaders asked her to pull together an event celebrating the unity of residents, businesses and elected officials working together on behalf of a rich and diverse neighborhood. Along with elected officials, community leaders and passionate residents, the team pulled together the first ever festival which included a Arts Show, Pet Zone, Kids Zone, Entertainment Stage, and General Vendors Zone that included a variety of non-profits, and DC based organizations and businesses. The 17th Street Festival was officially turned over to Historic Dupont Main Streets in 2013 to ensure the event was well represented by the diverse community of Dupont Circle. Today the festival continues to grow and boasts more than 100 vendors.
